Clean and Sanitize Floors In 15 Minutes

August 18, 2017 by Carrie

I have a feeling you’ll love this tip just as much as I do, so I’ve included some affiliate links for your convenience.  My full disclosure is here.
The easy way to clean and sanitize floors in 15 minutes

You’ll wish you’d known this trick a long time ago.  I know that’s a pretty bold statement but I really think it’s true.  This method saves me time & sanity and my floors have never been cleaner!  Try this & your floors will be vacuumed and sanitized easily all without a mop or scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees.  It works on hard floors like tile, laminate, luxury vinyl, marble, stone and hardwood.  You won’t have to use any harsh cleaning chemicals, either.  Let me show you how easy it is to clean and sanitize floors in 15 minutes.

How To Clean and Sanitize Floors in 15 Minutes

If you make cleaning easy from the start, it will get done in less time and you’ll have a cleaner house.  Cleaning and sanitizing the floors can be a 15 minute job, if you know the right method.

Here’s the secret: invest in this.  It will vacuum and steam sanitize your floor at the same time!  Since you’re doing two jobs at once, it will save you time and effort.  I’ve tried this on my own ceramic tile, laminate and luxury vinyl floors and it works great on all of them.

Here’s the proof.   My basement has luxury vinyl flooring that unfortunately gets covered in an insane amount cat litter and fur.

I used the magic cleaning solution & here are the results: the gross litter is gone, the floor is clean and I was able to clean the whole 650 square foot basement in under 15 minutes.

Here’s my dirty kitchen floor before cleaning:

It easily sucked up all the crumbs while the steamer took care of the dried up gunk.

Maybe you have a vacuum already.  Maybe you’ve got a mop too.  But how often do you actually get both of those out to clean and sanitize the floors?  You have to get the vacuum out and get all the debris off the floor.  Wrap up the vacuum cord and then put it away.  Then get the mop, bucket and cleaning chemicals.  Set it all up and then mop the floor.  That’s too much work.

Just get this and save yourself some time and sanity.

I’ve used it for about 3 months and I absolutely love it.  It’s held up well to a lot of use and does a great job tackling the many messes my kids and cats make.  It cleans all types of flooring surfaces well.

I just wish I would’ve had this years ago.

My only bit of caution is this: if you have flooring that is susceptible to bubbling when exposed to water, test it out on the low setting first in an inconspicuous area first to make sure your floor can handle it.  It works great on my engineered wood flooring without a problem because I make sure to not leave it sitting in the same position for too long.

Remember: the more steps you can eliminate, the easier your cleaning will be.  The easier it will be, the more often it will get done.  But you’ll have to have the right mindset in order for it to work.  Investing in good cleaning tools will make your life a lot easier!

If you’re looking for an equally as easy way to clean your carpeted floors, this is what I use.  It automatically adjusts the brush level to different heights of flooring.  That means you can go from carpet right to ceramic tile without having to stop and adjust the brush level.  Talk about a life saver!

What are some ways you save time cleaning?

Try this & your floors will be vacuumed & sanitized in under 15 minutes (without a mop or scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees) Clean and sanitize floors in 15 minutes from CarrieThisHome.com

I’m a “slave” to my floors with three little kids + a dog. I’m worried my kids will remember mom as always vacuuming, lol! Will have to check out this steam mop-vacuum combo. Visiting from Creative Corner party.
