This has been a BIG week in our family. My baby just turned 3. I know, he’s not a baby anymore but he’ll always be “my baby”.
As if that weren’t enough change, I decided to potty train my son this week too. Almost nothing is more exhausting than potty training. The method I’m (sort of) following requires you to stay with the child at all times for three days straight. That way you can catch the {ahem} event happening and rush them to the potty.
One really good thing that comes out of potty training is all the special time we spent with each other.
We’ve been snuggling up together and reading tons of books. I love these precious times with him! Plus we get to say bye-bye to diapers so it’s a win-win for all of us!
Time for the party!
Thanks for joining me and Jordan from Lily White. Designs, Amy From A Blossoming Life, Sara from Sneaky Spoons, and Katie from The Casual Craftlete. We each pick different features each week so be sure to head over to the other blogs to see some more lovely features!

This week at Carrie This Home
My friend Morgan from Morganize With Me shared a great tutorial How To Organize Sewing Supplies with us. Her tips apply to all craft and hobby items so we can all find this super helpful!
I’m also sharing an oldie but goodie this week–DIY Photo Christmas Cards for 12 cents each. Seriously–you can’t beat 12 cents per card, right?
Awesome Features From Last Week’s Party:
Letters to Amelia shared her Christmas wishes for my daughter including this free printable. Such a sweet way to make memories with our little ones!
Fluster Buster shared a recipe that feeds a family of 4 for under $5! You’ll have to check out her California Chicken Casserole recipe!
Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom shared her Easy Washi Tape Storage with us. This tape is almost too pretty to use!

Ah, your baby will always be your baby – mine is 15 now! I still call him my baby but for some reason he doesn’t seem to like it when I do!
I know I’m going to do the same thing when my son is 15 too! Thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks for the party Carrie! Enjoy your baby, mine is almost 5 and 1/2 and it he won’t stop growing. It happens so fast!
It really does happen so fast. It feels like yesterday he was just a baby!
What a sweet and beautiful family you have Carrie! Enjoy this time while they are young! Thanks for hosting and huge blessings to you,

That’s so sweet! My son has such a baby face anyway that it will probably be impossible for me not to call him my baby for the rest of his life. Poor kid 😉
Thank you so much for featuring me on this weeks hop! I’m loving your DIY Christmas cards, you have a beautiful family!
