Elite Blog Academy Review

November 22, 2014 by Carrie

*This post contains affiliate links to a blog course I highly recommend.

UPDATE:  The Elite Blog Academy will open up for new students in March 4th – 8th 2019.  Get on the wait list so you you’ll be the first to know when enrollment opens again!  Until it opens up for purchase, you can download some awesome FREE resources like this guide for boosting your income overnight, the goal setting workbook and the blogging made simple course.

This is the best way to invest in your blog!

You may have been asking “why are there so many guest posts here?”  Or “where has Carrie been lately?”

The truth is I’ve been at a crossroads with this blog.  It’s been such a fun hobby and creative outlet for me but I’ve realized something.  I was taking a lot of time working to build the blog and feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere.

Working on Carrie This Home part time from home would be my dream job.  In order for that dream to happen, something had to change.

This blog would have to take off.  Big time.

Which leads me to the reason why I’ve been a little MIA.  The reason is because I’ve been taking the Elite Blog Academy course.

EBA Square Graphic 1

I debated for weeks about weather or not I should take it.  I had major concerns like:

  • Would I have enough time to take the course?
  • Would it be worth the expense?
  • Would it reach my expectations?

At the last minute, as registration was about to close that night, I decided to jump in.  I decided to try it as a last ditch effort at this blogging thing.

I’m so glad I did!

I’m only halfway through the Elite Blog Academy, and already my pageviews have gone up by 49% and my Adsense revenue has been up 24%!  The lessons and helpful tips I’ve learned so far are already making a big difference.  There’s still so much more for me to learn but clearly the couple of things I’ve implemented are working.  As I learn more from the course, I’m expecting those numbers to be even better!

What is the Elite Blog Academy?

Elite Blog Academy is a self guided 12 unit online course that covers all things blogging.  The course comes with instant access to informational videos, handouts, and purposeful assignments.  Interactive live webinars and a forum where you can ask the experts and your fellow classmates questions are also included.

The expert behind this course is Ruth Soukup from LivingWellSpendingLess.com.  When I first started Carrie This Home, I read one of her books on blogging for profit and it was immensely helpful.  She really knows what she’s talking about.  Now that she’s offering a whole course covering everything there is to know about blogging, I decided to jump in.

Elite Blog Academy will empower, enable, and inspire you to take the specific steps necessary to refine your message, grow your audience, monetize your platform, and transform your blog into a successful and profitable business.

The great thing about Elite Blog Academy is the proven, field-tested strategies will help build a successful, profitable blog, regardless of the niche and no matter the target audience.

It is possible to create a successful business from a blog, and Elite Blog Academy shares exactly how it’s done, step-by-step.

Elite Blog Academy Review

The three concerns I was most worried about before purchasing this course were all addressed and I’d love to share them with you in case you’re wondering the same things.

Would I have time?  One of the best things about this course is you can take it at our own pace.  I work on my blog primarily during my son’s naptime and nowadays that doesn’t amount to much time at all!  Elite Blog Academy is designed to be self-paced, but should not be completed in less than 12 weeks.  If this course fits in to my crazy schedule, it can fit into yours too.

Would it be worth the expense?  I’m not going to lie.  This course is expensive but I can say with all my heart that it has been worth the expense and more.  The cost of tuition is not cheap but it does include lifetime access to the EBA course, as well as access to future course updates and bonuses.  Elite Blog Academy has been by far the best investment I’ve ever made in my blog.  The course materials and handouts have taught me so much and the techniques really work.  When I look at all the materials, bonus helpful handouts and extra personal help Ruth offers, I’m surprised but thankful she didn’t charge more.  Anyone who completes the course and has not seen measurable results in both traffic and income growth will get your money back, no questions asked. This means that you’ve literally got nothing to lose.

Would it reach my expectations?  No.  It exceeded my expectations!  I’ve said time and time again that I’m so glad I decided to enroll when I did.  The benefits of my hard work with this course are already paying off.  As I progress further through the course, I’m expecting those results to get even better!

Final verdict: I can easily say with complete honesty that Elite Blog Academy is worth every penny.  It has been by far the best investment I’ve ever made in my blog.

Here’s your chance to get it!

The Elite Blog Academy course enrollment will be opening up in 2018.  Make sure you get on the waiting list and be notified as soon as enrollment opens again!  Until it opens up for purchase, you can download some awesome FREE resources like this guide for boosting your income overnight, the goal setting workbook and the blogging made simple course.

Your purchase will help those in need
When you invest in your blogging business through Elite Blog Academy, you’re also helping to bring hope to children around the world through Compassion International. One HALF of all EBA profits will go to fund Compassion projects around the globe!

Additionally, Elite Blog Academy comes with a 100% money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at carriethishome@gmail.com and I’d love to help!

So… I somehow JUST now am reading this post of yours. I’m so wanting to take the Elite Blog Academy course, but goodness it’s pricy. But from what you are saying and what others have said, its worth it right?? I have no idea how I can convince my husband that this would be a good idea.

I think you’d LOVE this course Amy! It is pricy and it’s hard to convince non-bloggers to spend that much on a course. Through this course I’ve gained access to a forum with professional bloggers that I can bounce ideas off of, ask questions and gain exposure and that alone has been a HUGE resource. It comes with 12 videos, multiple handouts and helpful resources. When I look at the big picture of what I’ve learned and what the course provides, it IS worth it.
If the course is simply not in the budget, her book How To Blog For Profit: Without Selling Your Soul is also a great resource that you can tap into.
Let me know if you buy the book or the course–I would love to help!

How exciting Morgan! The course has really given me the motivation to make changes to my blog that I’ve known I’ve needed to make for a long time. It’s a lot of work but totally worth it. Keep in touch and let me know how it goes!

I am taking the course too! I am only in Unit 5. I would love to hear what has worked for you.Maybe I am not far enough yet. I have still been posting so have not gotten that far in the course yet. I would love to hear what things have worked best for you! You can email me at mycreativedays@yahoo.com!

So fun to meet other classmates like you Lindsay! I think some of the tips that have worked the best for me is the writing advice she gives and the Pinterest strategies. I’ve been re-pinning my Crock Pot Turkey Breast and 15 Minute Mashed Potatoes posts since it’s pretty timely with Thanksgiving just around the corner. I adapted my pinning strategies and pin descriptions to make them more conversational. I’ve gotten a good traffic boost just from that.
Don’t give up–I think for most of us we will have to keep at this for a little bit longer before we start seeing huge results. Plus this course does take a good amount of work so it will take some time to get it done. I’m excited to see how we all do in the coming year!

How funny – I had the exact same reservations about doing the course. I’m so glad I went for it too. My traffic has tripled. The forum is my absolute favorite part.

I completely agree Sarah! The forum has so helpful and it’s one of my favorite part about the course.
I read your review today and I’m so excited for you! What a fun time for the both of us!
