I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have it all together. In fact, I sort of adopted that as my slogan for Carrie This Home. I gladly point it out on my bio photo:
Why do I do this? I want Carrie This Home to be a place of encouragement. I struggle with things just like you do! I want to be the Mom my kids deserve but sometimes feel I’m not measuring up. My living room is usually a mess. I’m lucky if I get a shower. I struggle with having healthy confidence. The constant mountain of laundry causes me daily stress.
The list could go on.
I am willing and happy to share my struggles with my readers in the hope that I can also share some encouragement.
That struck a chord with one of my readers, Theresa from A Mom In The Making. This brings me to the point of today’s post. I have some exciting news…….drum roll please……
I did my first video interview and podcast!
Theresa wanted me to share about how I’ve overcome pressure to be the perfect mom. I haven’t totally conquered it but God has shown me some simple things that have made the struggle much easier.
I have to say it’s weird hearing my voice and seeing myself on video. But if it encourages just one other person, I’m totally fine with it!
Today I’m over at A Mom In The Making sharing about Overcoming Pressure To Be The Perfect Mom {Video Interview}.
We also did a Podcast talking about balancing confidence and imperfection.
Head on over to A Mom In The Making and show Theresa some love!
