Quick Teacher Gift Idea

May 24, 2013 by Carrie

Teacher gift

My daughter’s last day of school was this week.  She has two AMAZING teachers.  They are kind, caring, patient, and have made her first experience with school a true blessing. They both love their students and their jobs.  They made the transition to school so easy and fun.

I wanted to get each of my daughter’s teachers something to help kick off the summer.

If I had the money, I would have bought them a day at the spa {since they completely deserve it}  Since I can’t afford that I decided to make something simple, practical, and sweet for them.

Get Ready For Summer Teacher Gift!

What’s In It:

Straw waterbottle

Bag of M&Ms

Small bottle of hand lotion

Small travel bottle filled with homemade sugar scrub

{The homemade sugar scrub is literally the easiest thing in the world to make.  Sugar + liquid hand soap = amazing scrub.  Click HERE to see the recipe from Amy at My 3 Monsters}

I put all the items inside the water bottle.  Then I made this card using my photos on PicMonkey.com and taped it to the water bottle.

Teacher Gift

 Like the chalkboard background?  I downloaded it for free  HERE.

Did you do anything special for the teachers in your life?  I need some ideas for next year!

    I loved your teacher gift idea. I modified a bit.Started with similar straw cup and hand lotion, added travel pack of face wipes, body spray , mini compact mirror, and then some packets of instant Iced Tea and Lemonade. Also, for a few, I threw in a coupon for a Med Iced coffee at DD ( I had bought a package for myself and decided to rip a few out and share! ) Thanks !!! have some pictures, but not sure how / if I can upload here? Kind Regards, Robin S.
