Easter Tea Party Activity With Bigelow Tea

To help celebrate Easter, I had a fun afternoon tea party with my daughter.  Who doesn’t love to get dressed up, get out the fancy tableware and sip on some fabulous Bigelow Tea?

Easter Tea Party Activity. A fun and easy way to spend some quality time with your little ones! #shop #AmericasTea

As a busy mom I’m often pulled in a lot of different directions all at the same time.  I want to make sure that I slow down to spend some real quality time with my kids. Having tea parties is a great way for me to put aside the chores and tasks of the day and spend time with my daughter.

The first step for our Easter Tea Party Activity was to buy some tea.  It’s easy to find at Walmart and look at how many flavors you get to choose from!

Bigelow Tea is easy to find at Walmart

I’ve loved Bigelow Tea ever since my college days.  During one winter, I got hooked on the Perfectly Peach flavor as I tried to nurse a bad sore throat.  Bigelow Tea is an American company and has been family owned for three generations.  I love supporting American companies!

It’s Party Time!

We got the party started by choosing some fun Easter dresses to wear and brought out the fancy tableware.

Get out the good tableware for a Bigelow Tea party!

Next I heated up a large amount of water in the microwave and then we sat down to drink our tea.  We tried Cozy Chamomile, Orange Spice, Perfectly Peach, Vanilla Chai and Black Pomegranate.

Bigelow Tea has so many great flavors!

As we sipped different tea flavors we started talking and making up silly stories.  Having tea together creates a fun atmosphere to start sharing about life.  I hope we can do this together as she grows older.

It wouldn’t be a party without some silly faces!

Silly faces

Then my daughter’s favorite companion, Lammie, decided to join us.

Have a fun tea party with your little ones with Bigelow Tea

Of course Lammie had to try some tea as well!

We had fun sipping and trying all the different flavors.  Each Bigelow tea bag is individually wrapped in a special foil bag that keeps it fresh.  I think that’s why it tastes so wonderful.

We enjoyed spending time together talking, laughing, making silly faces and pretending Lammie was one of our party guests.  But we had to make a decision:

Which flavor is our favorite?

  • My favorite: Always was and still is Perfectly Peach.  Orange Spice and Pomegranate both came in a close second.
  • My daughter’s favorite: Everything except Orange Spice.
  • Lammie’s favorite: Pomegranate Black Tea

The Easter Tea party was a big hit!  My daughter loved getting some one-on-one time with Mommy and we both had a great time.

When we were all done, my daughter said:

“This is a special treat.  I love this!  Can we do it again tomorrow?”

My heart melted.  I’m so glad she had as much fun as I did!

Thank you #AmericasTea  and #CollectiveBias for helping to create a great afternoon with my daughter!

For a limited time, Bigelow tea is offering bonus packs that include an extra four tea bags in every box at Walmart (while supplies last).

Some more good news: Bigelow is offering a great “Thank You Mom” Sweepstakes so be sure to check it out! (sweepstakes ends on April 30)

I love having tea parties with my girls. We only use water right now so maybe I will change that. Orange spice sounds really good right now as I am not feeling too well. Tea when you are not feeling well alsways makes me feel better.

I agree–tea really helps make you feel better! Go ahead and try it with some tea next time–I’m sure the girls would love it!

Sweet little Lammie makes an appearance in all the big events in my daughter’s life so it was not a surprise he showed up for our tea party! It really was a lot of fun and we’ve had several tea parties since!

I LOVE tea parties! In fact, I just posted this week about some of the favorites my daughters and I have shared over the years. They are 17 and 14 right now and they STILL love having tea parties with me and their friends. It’s a worthwhile activity that is for any age and you can get really creative with them. You have many years to look forward to with your daughter and many memories to share.
