Flavorful Italian Chicken

June 26, 2013 by Carrie

Let me introduce you to the easiest way to make chicken.  Ever.

This recipe was really more of an experiment.  I was having a really busy week & honestly I was too exhausted to put much effort into dinner.

In the morning, I decided to defrost some chicken breasts & I marinated them in Italian dressing as they defrosted.

Fast forward to dinner time.  My hubby grilled the chicken and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this meal was, especially since it took so little effort!

Sometimes being really lazy with dinner pays off!

Flavorful Italian Chicken

4 Chicken Breasts (frozen or thawed)

3/4 bottle of Italian dressing

Find a pan that is big enough to lay the chicken breasts down in one layer without too much extra space around it.  I usually use my 8×8 glass pan.  Grease the dish and lay the chicken down in a single layer.

Pour your favorite italian dressing over all the chicken.  You’ll want most of the chicken surfaces to be covered in dressing like this:

Easiest way to make chicken

Cover the pan and place in the fridge and allow to defrost/marinate all day.

Now you have a choice to make: you can grill or bake the chicken.

If baking the chicken, bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.

If grilling, grill until chicken is fully cooked.  If you need tips on how to grill chicken, click HERE.

It really doesn’t get any easier than that.

Like this recipe?  Pin it &  try it sometime!
