I’ve got an addiction. A healthy addiction.
Let me introduce you to my minimal-ingredient-recipe addiction. There’s evidence of my addiction all over the place, especially on my 3-5 ingredient recipe Pinterest board.
I heart minimal ingredient recipes because they’re budget friendly and are often easy to make as well.
This addiction isn’t so bad, right?
I also have an addiction to sweet treats. {Who doesn’t?!?} Lately I’ve been having fun making all sorts of different fudge recipes like orange cream fudge and candy corn fudge. Both of them are super easy and oh-so-delicious.
Then one day a brilliant idea hit me.
What about lemon fudge?
That was one of those times when the recipe idea was just as good, if not better, than what I hoped for. The result is a sweet & tangy flavor combination that melts beautifully in your mouth!
This fudge is so easy to make, it can also makes a fun activity you can do with the kids!
My daughter always enjoys spending time cooking with her mama. These are the days I’ll miss when she’s off to college! I better get to the recipe before I get too emotional…
2 Ingredient Lemon Fudge
- 1 12 oz package white baking morsels (preferably from Aldi) OR 1 12 oz package white chocolate chips
- 1 16 oz package lemon flavored frosting
- Line an 8x8 square baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt white baking morsels gently in a double boiler on the stove over medium-low heat.
- Stir the chocolate morsels constantly until completely melted. Be sure to melt it slowly since it tends to burn easily under high heat.
- Pour melted chocolate into a large bowl.
- Add frosting to the chocolate and stir both ingredients until well blended.
- Immediately pour fudge into parchment paper-lined dish.
- Let the fudge solidify in the fridge (for at least two hours)
- Remove fudge from dish and place onto a large cutting board.
- Cut into one inch pieces and serve.
- Leftovers can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
