Today I’m changing up things a little bit and sharing something pretty personal and dear to my heart.
Easter is one of my favorite days of the year because it’s all about new beginnings, new life and fresh starts.
Because He Lives {Free Easter Printable}
When I gave my life to Jesus and let him be in charge of my life, I felt an enormous weight lifted off my shoulders. Jesus captured my heart and trust.
I felt free.
Because He died for my sins, defeated death, and rose again, I can completely trust Him. No matter what I face in this life, he has already faced the challenge for me.
When he died and rose again, he defeated death and fear itself.
Because he lives, I don’t have to be afraid. He leads me to look past the fear to the truth that he’s in control no matter what is going on around me.
Because he lives, he gives my life purpose and shows me what I was made for.
Because he lives, I can enjoy every good thing he’s given me in freedom.
Because he lives I can be free from guilt since he paid for all of my mistakes.
Because he lives, I don’t have to worry about finances because he will provide for my needs as I follow him. Not every want, but every need.
Because he lives I can face the unknown without fear because he holds my future in his hands.
Because he lives, I can trust him with my friends facing horrible things like cancer and know that he will come along side them and bring peace.
Because he lives, when I die, I know he’s preparing a place for me in Heaven. The end of my life won’t really be the end.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. He loves you anyway. You don’t have to clean yourself up before your go to him. Come as you are.
This Sunday, I encourage you to go check out a local church and seek the one who is after your heart.
