Get Rid of Greasy Hair In 10 Minutes

Have you ever noticed your hair getting greasy but you don’t have time to shower?  Me too!  A shower would solve the greasy hair problem but it takes a lot of time to go through the whole process.

I have great news!  I recently found a life hack that that solves the greasy hair problem so well it’s been a huge game changer for me!

This tip is perfect for busy women, new mothers, and for people like me who need a quicker solution.

My hair gets VERY greasy if it’s not washed everyday.  My hubby jokes if I go too long without washing my hair, it looks like I’ve put hair gel in it.  I guess I can’t blame him when it looks like this:

There are ways to cover up greasy hair.  But baby powder and dry shampoos only cover the problem.  After awhile that greasiness always makes a come back!

I found a fast way to get rid of greasy hair–not just cover it up.  In fact, this method should take only about 10 minutes!  Here’s the secret:  you won’t be washing all your hair–just the part on the top that everyone sees!  Only washing the top portion of your hair will give you the clean look you want while saving you tons of time!

Here’s how to get rid of greasy hair in 10 minutes:

1) Separate the top portion of your hair that you want to wash and put it up in a high pony tail.
2) Put the remaining hair underneath in a pony tail to keep it out of the way, like in the picture below.

3) Take the top pony tail out releasing the hair that you will wash.
4) Hold your head upside down in either a sink or bathtub and wash & condition the top portion of your hair.  If your hair is longer, it may be best to do this in the tub so your hair doesn’t go down the drain.  Keep the back portion of your hair out of the water.
5) Dry your hair with a towel trying to get as much moisture out of the hair as you can.
6) Take out the ponytail and blow dry and style your hair like normal.

Boom!  You’re done!  Wasn’t that easy?

I’ve used this method on myself many times and even with washing, conditioning, blow drying AND flat ironing, I can still get it done in about 10 minutes.

Now THAT’S a time saver!
