Considering all the inspiring ideas I see on other blogs and Pinterest, I thought I would start doing a (semi) regular series sharing ideas that inspire me. Sometimes an easy recipe will get me in the kitchen. Other times seeing someone transform a piece of furniture makes me want to run out the door to my local thrift store to search for the next great transformation.
Here’s some great inspiring ideas I found this week!
Fabric covered plywood from Now At Home Mom. She took a piece of plywood, covered it with beautiful fabric and transformed it into a functional office pin board.
This is a low cost project that makes a big impact. I’d LOVE to do this in my office to hang my calender, pictures, and important papers. Now I just have to find the right fabric!
A long time ago I pinned this homemade dishwasher detergent idea from A Blossoming Life. This week I finally got around to trying it! My family usually uses the dishwasher once to twice a day so this is going to be a big money saver for us. I’ve used it for a little bit now & had good results so far!
DIY Monogram Photo Art from Rain On A Tin Roof.
Jenna is full of awesome DIY decorating ideas. She took regular wrapping paper, a frame and some photos and made this great wall art. I have a slight {ahem} obsession with easy wall art. Just look at my Pinterest boards and you’ll see. This project definitely fits in with my obsession!
Tiny Sidekick recently gave this old chair a makeover that I LOVE! There’s something I adore about how the grey fabric pops against the crisp white color on the frame. I think I’m also getting a little obsessed with the color grey.
I hope these ideas have been as inspiring for you as they were for me. I’d love to know:
